Phillip Dutton has announced that Mr. Medicott, who was not presented for the second horse inspection at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** on April 27, exacerbated a previous tendon injury on cross-country at the event.

“At this stage, we’re relieved that the damage seems minor and should heal quickly. He’ll be kept in light work, and we will rehabilitate the leg aggressively to get him back to what he loves to do as soon as possible,” said Dutton on his Facebook page. “We’ll be monitoring his progress daily and will keep everyone updated.”
