The United States Equestrian Federation approved two additional horse/rider combinations to the eventing short list for the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Clark Montgomery with Up Spirit and Jennifer Wooten with The Good Witch were evaluated and moved up from the reserve list to join 13 other combinations on the list.

Wooten and The Good Witch recently placed seventh at the 2008 Rolex Kentucky CCI****. Montgomery has been leading the HSBC FEI World Cup Eventing series and finished second with Up Spirit at The Fork CIC***-W (N.C.) in April.
