Minna Telde Withdraws Don Charly From Freestyle

Swedish rider Minna Telde announced today that she has had to withdraw Don Charly from the freestyle. The Swedish Warmblood stallion (Don Gregory—Indiana) twisted his foot in the warm-up, but he jogged sound at the veterinary inspection. However, he was re-examined after Thursday's competition, and he came up lame on his right foreleg.

"I am very sad. I was so excited to be here at my first World Cup Final," said the 34-year-old rider from Hasselholm. Telde and Don Charly finished ninth in the Grand Prix class.
