Michael Traurig Suspended By U.S. Center For SafeSport

On Oct. 19, the U.S. Center for SafeSport temporarily suspended professional hunter/jumper trainer Michael Traurig for “allegations of misconduct” and instituted a no-contact directive.

He is also listed as ineligible from the U.S. Equestrian Federation.

Traurig is based in Portola Valley, California. He’s the son of well-known U.S. Equestrian Team rider and EquestrianCoach.com founder Bernie Traurig and a former jockey of 20 years.
