Jung also earned the World Cup title last year, but he garnered that championship by winning an actual Final, held in Strzegom. This year the champion was determined by cumulative points throughout the season.

Jung and La Biostetique Sam are on the short list for the German eventing team for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
