Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum gave birth to her first child, a daughter, named Brianne Victoria, on Feb. 27 at 3:51 p.m. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20.4 inches long.

She announced on her website, www.michaels-beerbaum.de, that she would return to competition at the Teuteburger Easter Festival, March 31 through April 5 in Damme, Germany.

She and her husband Markus enjoyed the time off with their daughter.
