West Palm Beach, FL (March 19, 2010) – Twenty-year-old Meagan Davis turned in award-winning rides in the FEI Young Rider Individual and Team tests on Bentley, owned by Kelly Roetto, during the 2010 Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI. Trilogy Dressage Saddles sponsored the FEI Young Rider Individual class, and Davis rode away with a beautifully embroidered Trilogy quarter sheet for her win.

“Everything I am today I owe to this horse,” Davis said, describing her partnership with Bentley, a 16.2 hand, 17-year-old Danish Warmblood. “I rode him a little conservatively in the Individual test, but I was still pleased with how it went.”

Davis began her dressage career when she was only seven-years-old, and competed in her first FEI class at the age of 11. She competed in the 2006 and 2007 NAJYRC in the FEI Junior Division and in 2008 as a Young Rider, winning the Team Silver for Region 8. Davis began riding Bentley, who was Kassie Barteau’s 2006 NAYRC Team Silver partner, in October of 2008.

“I truly love supporting our country’s young dressage riders and I am thrilled that Meagan and Bentley won the Trilogy sponsored Young Rider class,” said Deborah Witty, President of Trilogy. “The Palm Beach Dressage Derby was, once again, a wonderful show and I am pleased that I was able to attend and pleased that I was able to present Meagan with her award.”
