• Reesa Hylton, Purchase, N.Y., won best child rider on a pony honors after claiming the small pony hunter reserve championship with Rambur Blue Denim and the medium pony hunter championship and pony hunter classic with Everwood. The 12-year-old also rode Beachball to ribbons in the small pony hunters, while her little sister Celeste, 9, showed the chestnut gelding in the short stirrup equitation division.
• Vivian Yowan, 12, edged out Hylton and Rambur Blue Denim to take the small pony hunter tricolor aboard Knock On Wood. “Woody” belongs to Kristen Lutz, whose father, Danny, trains the Hylton sisters.
