Madonna has purchased a $9.6 million dollar ranch from Kelly Klein, wife of fashion mogul, Calvin, according to Horse & Hound. Wide Ocean farm is located in Bridgehampton, N.Y., and ranges over 30 acres.

The pop star may also be contemplating buying a second property adjacent to the ranch on which she plans to build a home. She’s promised to keep the property a working equestrian facility.

Madonna began taking lessons from English eventer William Fox-Pitt in 2005, and despite several injuries from horse-related falls, she’s remained involved in the equestrian world.

Horse & Hound reported that her insurance company banned her from riding during her tour this year after she fell off while practicing jumping in the Hamptons.
