Kraut, Madden and Kursinski Lead Super League Team

Olympians Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden and Anne Kursinski will anchor the U.S. team at the first three shows in the Samsung Super League series, which kicks off at La Baule, France, on May 5-8. Joining them will be Schuyler Riley and Georgina Bloomberg.

The five women qualified for the Super League team by being ranked (in order named) first, third, fifth, sixth and ninth on the USEF International Computer List on March 25.

Olympians Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden and Anne Kursinski will anchor the U.S. team at the first three shows in the Samsung Super League series, which kicks off at La Baule, France, on May 5-8. Joining them will be Schuyler Riley and Georgina Bloomberg.

Kraut, 39, who rode on the 2000 Olympic team, will ride Miss Independent. Madden, 41, a member of the 2004 silver-medal team, is scheduled to ride Authentic, but she may take Conquest or Judgement instead. Kursinski, 45, who won team silver medals in 1988 and 1996, will ride Roxana 112. Riley, 33, will ride Illian, and Bloomberg, 21, will ride Riviera.

The alternates are Christine Tribble, on Vegas, Margie Engle, on Hidden Creek
