Chesterfield, South Carolina, April 13, 2010 – Kim Severson, an international equestrian competitor and Olympic silver medalist, will be holding a clinic on May 29 and 30 at Southern Eighths Farm in Chesterfield, South Carolina. The event is hosted by Classic Eventing, and will be geared towards the amateur horse and rider who wish to learn more about the sport of Eventing and the theories of the long format.
“Kim needs no introduction to those who are interested in Eventing and we’re thrilled that she has agreed to teach the first of our clinics which is sponsored by Classic Eventing at Southern Eighths,” says Shelley Lambert, Managing Director with Classic Eventing. “We’re making sure that this clinic is specifically targeted to amateurs and cross-country jumps will not exceed Training Level expectations.”
Cost for the clinic is a special $150.00 rate with Southern Eighths sponsoring the additional costs. Because the farm’s stabling is not yet complete, riders will need to ship in for this experience. Classic Eventing can also arrange for stabling nearby Southern Eighths. The clinic is limited to 20 participants, so those interested are urged to reserve their spot now by contacting Shelley Lambert at Shelley@So8ths.com, 843-623-5005 (office) or 352-266-3970 (cell).
