Horner has a small bleed in her skull, which is causing some paralysis. She’s responsive to pain but can’t talk yet due to swelling in her throat. She’s expected to remain hospitalized for about a week and then will be moved to a rehabilitation center.

In 2005, Horner was also involved in a serious accident that left her in a brace for the better part of the season.
