GLADSTONE, NJ – December 2, 2013 – After more than 20 years with the U.S. Equestrian Team (USET) and U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF), Jim Wolf is leaving the Federation and launching Wolf Sports Group LLC. Wolf left his USEF position as Executive Director, Sport Programs and launched his new company effective December 1, 2013.
Wolf Sports Group will provide services in sports marketing as well as event management and logistics. Given Wolf’s extensive background and expertise in the equestrian sports world, the company will focus primarily, although not exclusively, on equestrian sports. The company will be headquartered at the USET Foundation office in Gladstone, NJ and Wolf has announced that its first client is the USEF.
“I have devoted my entire career to helping equestrian sports and furthering its growth,” said Wolf. “That is not going to change. I remain committed to the USEF and will continue to work with them and help them with sponsorships. I do believe, however, that in my new capacity I will be in a better position to do more for our sport and I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”

Wolf was the USET/USEF’s Director of Eventing Activities from 1993 to 2004.
