Wellington, FL (March 29, 2011) – Janne Rumbough and her PRE gelding JR proved to be an unstoppable team during the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II CDI when the duo captured the Adult Amateur High Score of the show. The victories kept rolling in for Rumbough when her high score helped her win the Everglades Dressage Adult Amateur High Score Award, sponsored by Everglades Dressage and Bethany Peslar.

Rumbough was presented with a beautiful embroidered saddle pad, a leather sugar pouch, and a gift certificate for a free lesson at Peslar’s premier equestrian facility, Everglades Dressage, in the exclusive Grand Prix Village of Wellington. “This is my second time to win the Everglades award and I really appreciate Bethany’s support of adult amateurs,” Rumbough said, adding that her prior win came on a different horse.

Rumbough is often found in the winner’s circle on the Adult Amateur dressage circuit and shows her 17-hand, dappled grey JR out of her MTICA Farm in Wellington. JR is a Pura Raza Espanola, or PRE, which are Pure Spanish Horses that have been linked to the culture of Andalusia for thousands of years.

“JR was a really good boy at this show and I was very pleased with him,” Rumbough said, adding that she showed other horses throughout the weekend and also took part in the Master’s pre-clinic prior to the show.

Trainer Bethany Peslar, who operates Everglades Dressage, congratulated Rumbough on winning the Adult Amateur High Score Award again and said she looks forward to Rumbough having another lesson at her farm. “Janne is a very successful Adult Amateur rider and has made a wonderful name for herself on the Florida show circuit,” Peslar said. “In addition to being a great rider she is a great person and I am so pleased that she won again. Her horses are amazing and she is a very dedicated horsewoman and it is my pleasure to know her.”
