Despite the recent doping controversy swirling around Isabell Werth, the gossip about her at the Aachen CHIO (Germany) had a positive note. The 39-year-old is pregnant, reported Eurodressage.com.

Confirmed by Werth’s trainer, Wolfram Wittig, Werth is due in November and was trying to keep the information quiet until after the European Championships. The father is Werth’s  partner Wolfgang Urban, a former manager of the Karstadt company. Werth was not in attendance at Aachen, due to her  suspension from competition.
