International Bromont is held at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park, originally installed as the site for the 1976 Montreal Olympic Equestrian Sports. The site is currently undergoing numerous renovations to prepare for the world’s top riders to attend the exciting event.

The first week of competition will feature two highlight events for jumper riders. The event will open with the $32,000 CSI** 1.50m Open Jumper class on Friday, July 23. Later in the week riders will have the opportunity to compete during the $65,000 CSI** 1.60m World Cup Qualifier. During this class riders will compete for points to show at the 2011 FEI World Cup Finals in Leipzig, Germany.

The exciting jumper action continues during the second week with the $32,000 CSI*** 1.50m Open Jumper class on Friday, July 30. On Sunday, August 1, riders will compete for the top prize during the $125,000 CSI*** 1.60m Grand Prix, which will act as a World Equestrian Games qualifying competition for the Canadian riders. The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™will be held September 25 – October 10, 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.

In addition to the current renovations, International Bromont has improved the stabling areas, replaced footing in the jumper rings, improved the VIP area, and added bleacher seating. Riders attending this year’s competition at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park will be thrilled with the renovations while enjoying a world-class competition.
