While much of Don Principe’s career has been focused on the show ring, the 13-year-old Hanoverian owned by Maryanna Haymon has already achieved success as a sire. In 2010, he sired 3 U.S. Dressage Federation Breeders Championship Champions, all of which had a median score over 80 percent. That same year, three Don Principe daughters were presented to the American Hanoverian Society for inspection and all three earned their Elite Eligible or Elite Mare Candidate status.
