Hear Anne Gribbons’ Commentary On Anky Van Grunsven’s Winning Ride

The I-rated Judge and frequent contributor to the Chronicle's Between Rounds said that the quaility of the freestyles of the top three in the 2005 FEI World Cup Dressage Final would have made judging a winner a tough choice. As a spectating judge, Gribbons said she would have picked Edward Gal to win over Anky Van Grunsven because of Gal's stallion, Geldnet Lingh's complete connection without lack of tension. She added that it was the best freestyle she'd ever seen Brentina and Debbie McDonald perform.
