Go To The Olympic Games With Samantha Taylor

Canadian eventer Samantha Taylor will be representing her home nation on her first senior international team this summer in Hong Kong. As last-minute replacements for withdrawn team members Jessica Phoenix and Exploring, the 25-year-old  rider and her Canadian Thoroughbred gelding Livewire will be among the youngest competitors stepping into the Olympic eventing spotlight. But with a résumé full of impressive results, they'll be strong competitors for Canada—in 2006, the pair placed seventh at the Jersey Fresh CCI*** (N.J.) and completed the CCI*** at Fair Hill (Md.).
