Germany
The German equestrian federation has named the horse-and-rider combinations for the dressage team at the Tokyo Olympic Games, following a final observation event at Kronberg (Germany):
• Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB
• Dorothee Schneider and Showtime FRH (direct reserve Faustus)
• Isabell Werth and Bella Rose (Weihegold OLD is the first reserve. DSP Quantaz is the second reserve.)
Helen Langehanenberg and Annabelle are the traveiling reserve. The team also named two alternates: Frederic Wandres (Duke Of Britain FRH) and Benjamin Werndl (Daily Mirror).

Sweden
Sweden also named four horse-and-rider combinations for the dressage team. It did not indicate which combination would be the traveling reserve.
