Wilsonville, OR – December 3, 2014 – This weekend, George H. Morris will travel from California to Oregon to conduct a clinic at Rich Fellers Stable. Morris, the former U.S. Show Jumping Chef d’Equipe will join Fellers, the 2012 World Cup Champion, at his home in Wilsonville Oregon to teach a three-day clinic December 5-7, 2014. The legendary horseman and coach will be instilling the foundations of good horsemanship to eager riders and auditors from the Northwest.

After retiring as Chef d’Equipe of the United States Show Jumping Team, Morris has set his sights on developing the future of the sport by conducting clinics around the world. Focusing on helping riders develop correct form and function, Morris has often been referred to as the founding father of hunt seat equitation. Second to none, his teachings, technique and style are revered around the world. Over the course of his career, Morris has been highly successful as a rider, coach, clinician, author and judge.

For me, personally, it is always a great tune up when George comes to town,” said Fellers. “For the area, and for our program specifically it gives everyone some things to focus on during the winter break, and freshens everyone up for a long, cold winter.”

While spots to participate as a rider in the clinic filled up immediately, auditor positions are still available to gain knowledge from the esteemed Morris through observation. A waiting list is also available for riders should spots open up. Auditor spots are offered for $30 per session or $75 per day. A concession stand with homemade food for purchase will be onsite.
