Four U.S. Riders Heading To Luhmühlen CCI5*-L In Germany

Seventy-one entries will compete at the Luhmühlen CCI5*-L, held June 17-21 in Luhmühlen, Germany.

The event is the last chance for riders to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games and is also serving as a prep run for those targeting the rescheduled 2021 Longines European Championships for Eventing (Switzerland).

Ten countries will be represented, with Great Britain having the most entries at 41, including reigning world champions Ros Canter and Allstar B and 2019 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials (England) winners Piggy March and Vanir Kamira.

Four pairs will be representing the United States—Jennie Brannigan and Stella Artois (rerouting from a fall at the Land Rover Kentucky CCI5*-L), Ariel Grald and Leamore Master Plan, Boyd Martin and Long Island T (rerouting from a fall at the Land Rover Kentucky CCI5*-L), and Lynn Symansky and RF Cool Play.

Olympic gold medalist Michael Jung will compete with fischerWild Wave and Highlighter.

There are 73 pairs entered in the CCI4*-S, with British-based Katherine Coleman, on Monbeg Senna and Billy Bandit, representing the U.S.
