Courtney Cooper is at the Kentucky Horse Park for her second Rolex Kentucky CCI**** with her homebred Who’s A Star, and she’s taking Chronicle readers along for the week by blogging each day. 

We came into the Kentucky Horse Park on Monday and Who’s A Star, aka Tag, got settled in very easily.

For Tuesday, I had always planned on it being an easy day for him and me. So my assistant Sidney and I had a relaxed morning and I took him for a spin. The gratitude you feel walking around this place for me is always big in the quiet moments like today when there isn’t the hustle and bustle and so I enjoyed it tremendously

The afternoon was spent doing odds and ends shopping for little things and doing things like fixing my glasses that broke.

The most important thing that was accomplished was finding the perfect shoes—after almost giving up—for my jog outfit. You will have to wait for the big reveal of the whole outfit tomorrow at the jog but I am sending a picture along for you to laugh at so enjoy it and I will have more tomorrow!
