The Fork Tidbits

Last year’s winners of The Fork CIC***, Theodore O’Connor and Karen O’Connor, were pulled up halfway through their cross-country round and informed that they’d jumped a corner incorrectly earlier in the course. Although the pair was eliminated, O’Connor did finish second with Mandiba in the CIC*** and fifth with Hugh Knows in the CIC***-W.

Allison Springer took home her third consecutive yellow ribbon of the spring season with Arthur. She followed up her third places at the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials (Ga.) and the Red Hills CIC***-W (Fla.) with the same finish in the CIC***-W at The Fork.

Young Rider Jennie Brannigan continued her intermediate hot streak by winning the Gold Cup Trophy after she and Cooper posted the lowest score–their dressage mark of 33.5–in all three intermediate divisions.
In the advanced division, four-star veterans John Williams and Carrick took third place in their first outing in more than two years at the level.
