Ocala, Fla – The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center is beginning to resemble a Hollywood set thanks to the abundance of camera crews shooting commercials and TV shows at the state-of-the-art facility. The beautiful facility in sunny Florida, combined with the center’s cutting edge rehab, has drawn the attention of more than one film crew recently.
“The Sanctuary features some of the most advanced conditioning and rehab equipment in the world,” said Tom Grabe, The Sanctuary’s Managing Partner. “We are committed to the healing, conditioning and well being of all equine athletes, and it has been a pleasure to share that with camera crews and news stations.”
Sarah Pusateri, a news reporter with WCJB-TV 20, an ABC affiliate, shot a feature on The Sanctuary that included interviewing UF Veterinary School Professor Dr. Michael Porter about the cutting edge rehab available at The Sanctuary. “It was a great way to introduce new people to our facility and the many things we have to offer,” Grabe said.
The call of “Lights! Camera! Action!” could also be heard when The Sanctuary’s equine physical therapy technician Korin Hullinger was interviewed for a television commercial that will air on America’s Horse TV. “They were shooting a commercial on the product Lamigard, a dietary supplement for horses with conditions associated with Laminitis,” Garbe said. “The commercial will air on America’s Horse TV, a free online television network.”
