The Fédération Equestre Internationale launched a new website dedicated to its Clean Sport Campaign on Jan. 11. Visit the site at: www.feicleansport.org
The website contains information about new regulations the FEI is implementing this year to combat doping in equestrian sports. The site also contains details about the new Equestrian Community Integrity Unit that will help monitor corruption, identify offenders and conflicts of interest in equestrian sports, as well as safeguard horse welfare.
“We felt it was important to have a dedicated site where people could go to get all the information they needed,” FEI Secretary General Alex McLin said. “We firmly believe this site will raise awareness of our anti-doping efforts and increase overall compliance with the new rules when they come into force on 5 April this year.”

FEI officials hope the campaign will reaffirm commitment to fair play and horse welfare.
“The concept of Clean Sport is about much more than a new list of prohibited substances and a new rulebook. It’s also about better judgment, professionalization of the officials that regulate our sport and consistency of decisions. It’s a complete package, and its success depends on everyone playing their part to maintain that level playing field,” read the statement on the new site.
The new Clean Sport website will be complemented by the FEI’s revamped website www.fei.org which is due to be launched shortly.
