The Fédération Equestre Internationale Executive Board has proposed the appointment of an Ad Hoc Working Group of world-class dressage experts from all aspects of the discipline to review key issues and inject a new focus in the sport.
Executive Board members plan to present the idea of the Ad Hoc Working Group at the upcoming FEI General Assembly in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nov. 17-21.

Proposed names for the new group included the Netherlands’ Frank Kemperman, who will represent event organizers, Great Britain’s Richard Davison, who will represent riders, Robert Dover of the United States, who will represent trainers and France’s Alain Francqueville, who will represent chefs d’equipe. One more member will represent judges, but he or she hasn’t been chosen yet.
Whether or not the current Dressage Committee members will resign, as they’ve been asked to do by the Executive Board, has not been resolved. The national equestrian federations who are FEI members will take up this question through the FEI Bureau and General Assembly.
