Princess Haya of Jordan, FEI president, had asked for the resignation of the entire Dressage Committee on Oct. 31, and a flurry of discussion followed as Withages spoke for the committee and said they would not resign (see FEI Infighting Heats Up).

The FEI Bureau thanked Withages for the good work she did for the development of dressage during almost eight years she chaired the committee.
