The entry list for the Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials, scheduled for June 15-18 in Luhmühlen, Germany, has gone live. There are six U.S. horse-and-rider pairs entered in the five-star, and two combinations entered in the CCI4*-S.

Tamie Smith, winner of the Land Rover Kentucky CCI5*-L, will ride Solaguayre California in the mare’s first five-star. “California” most recently finished second in the Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S (Kentucky) and third in the Tryon Spring CCI4*-S (North Carolina).

Boyd Martin is bringing two horses to Germany. Fedarman B will be making his five-star debut, while Martin’s four-time championship partner Tsetserleg TSF is re-routing to Germany after an early refusal and retirement on the CCI5*-L course in Kentucky.

Matthew Flynn and Wizzerd will make their sixth five-star start. Last year they finished 17th at Luhmühlen and 26th at Pau (France). Sydney Elliott, who was third in the Lexington CCI4*-S with QC Diamantaire, will be making her third five-star start. Great Britain-based U.S. rider Katherine Coleman, who was 23rd at Badminton (England) in May with Monbeg Senna, will ride RLE Limbo Kaiser in the gelding’s first five-star.

In the four-star, Dan Kreitl and Carmango will compete abroad for the first time. The pair won The Dutta Corp./USEF CC4*-L Eventing National Championship at the Tryon International Equestrian Center last fall in their CCI4*-L debut. As the winner of that event, Kreitl received a $20,000 ticket grant to travel abroad to compete in 2023. They were most recently fifth in the Lexington CCI4*-S.

Hallie Coon will compete Cute Girl in the four-star. Coon was the 2022 recipient of the Wilton Fair Fund, awarded by the U.S. Eventing Association Foundation, and is basing in England currently.
