EAF Plans Ben Harper World Cup Benefit Concert

Two-time Grammy Award winner Ben Harper will play a benefit concert for the Equestrian AIDS Foundation at the Hard Rock Hotel "Joint" in Las Vegas on April 22.

The last time the World Cup was held in Las Vegas, the EAF booked Melissa Etheridge for a benefit concert, and it was a huge success.

Two-time Grammy Award winner Ben Harper will play a benefit concert for the Equestrian AIDS Foundation at the Hard Rock Hotel “Joint” in Las Vegas on April 22.

The last time the World Cup was held in Las Vegas, the EAF booked Melissa Etheridge for a benefit concert, and it was a huge success.

“So we’ve got Ben Harper for the night, and we’re going to have this amazing party,” said Robert Dover, founder of the EAF. “I think it will be the party to be seen at and to be at during the World Cup this year. We’re working on finishing off the evening with a guest emcee, who will also run our live auction. It’s going to be an incredible night.”

In 1996 Dover and other concerned equestrians created the EAF to provide direct financial support for individuals in the equestrian community who are suffering with HIV or AIDS.
