Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival will be held Aug. 21-23, 2020 at HITS-on-the-Hudson showgrounds in Saugerties, New York.
Division championships feature a three-phased competition: a written test based on pre-assigned reading, a group equitation ride, and an individual dressage test.
Riders of all levels are welcomed to the show, with classes offered from intro through Fédération Equestre Internationale Youth levels (including FEI Pony, FEI Children’s, FEI Juniors, and FEI Young Riders).

The festival also offers the Kross Creek Farm Team Championships in honor of Margarita Serrell. More than 50 teams usually compete at Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival. Some teams are formed in advance, but other teams are often formed during the festival. The team competition culminates in the parade of teams, during which riders get to walk into the stadium together with their teammates to be recognized for their achievements.
The Youth Dressage Festival Midwest has also been announced for June 28, 2020, at Hampton Green Farm in Fruitport, Michigan, and the Atlanta Youth Festival will be held Sept. 6, 2020, at the Georgia International Horse Park.
