Draper Equine Therapy, makers of therapeutic products for horses and riders, has partnered with Saratoga Horseworks to create Perfect Polos. Angelea Kelly Walkup from HorseGirlTV, who also serves as a Draper Equine Therapy Advisory Board Member, is already singing the praises of the Perfect Polo.

“Draper is always on top of the best in high tech sport horse therapy so the quality of these new Perfect Polos is no surprise,” Walkup said. “Draper’s Celliant technology combined with the Saratoga Bandage combines horse health with sport support and fashion too! It’s a definite plus to me they are made in the USA!”

Perfect Polos are a combination of Draper Equine Therapy’s Therapeutic Polo and the tried and true Saratoga Bandage. The inside half of the Perfect Polo is made of the Draper Therapeutic Wrap while the Saratoga Bandage makes up the outer shell.

“Perfect Polos were designed to take our conventional Draper Polo Wraps to the next level. We really wanted to add some additional stability to the leg while the horse was exercising and we believe we have created something that has far exceeded our expectations,” said Kat Wojtylak, Product Manager of Draper Equine Therapy. “The Saratoga Bandage has been on the market for a number of years and has been used in multiple markets from racing to jumping. It has been perfected so that it doesn’t even compare to its competition.”

Saratoga Bandages have a firm controlled stretch that offers more support to the lower leg than any other product of its type. The lightweight breathable material carries only three ounces of water when soaking wet, keeping weight down even in the worst conditions. The patented silicone application on the inside of the bandage has been further refined for a more secure fit and even pressure distribution on the leg.

The Draper Equine Therapy Polo Wrap is made from a high quality knit fabric that enables it to wear better and last longer even between countless washes. Through the technology of Celliant/Holofiber®, the Polo Wraps are designed to promote increased circulation within the leg to help keep edema and swelling in the leg to a minimum, while providing for faster recovery after a workout.

The Perfect Polos will debut at the American Equestrian Trade Association’s Summer Trade Fair to retailers nationwide. The show takes place August 14-16th in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The Perfect Polos are machine washable and dryer safe and all products/fabrics are made in the USA. Perfect Polos are available in a white (outer shell) or black. Retail value is $65.00.

Wojtylak said that Draper has exciting news in the meantime. HorseGirlTV® and Draper Equine Therapy are pleased to present the Tale of the Traveling Polo Contest! A full set (four) of the wraps have started in North Carolina with HorseGirlTV’s host, Angelea, and star horse, Carrara, embarking on the maiden voyage. From there, interested parties will contact HorseGirlTV and the polo wraps will then be shipped to the next participant. Each participant must share their experience with the Perfect Polos by photographing them in use and writing a little blurb about them. They then get washed and sent on to the next participant.

Each person to complete the photographing will receive a 20% coupon for Draper Therapies and be entered to win a free saddle pad and a full set of the Perfect Polos from a random drawing out of the total participants.
