- Guenter Seidel kept up his string of small tour wins at the Del Mar CDI. He and U II won the Prix St. Georges (70.96%) and scored an astounding 78.75 percent in the freestyle. As of April 28, he sat on top of the U.S. Intermediaire I standings with an average score of 71.23 percent.
- After competing at the Rolex FEI World Cup Dressage Final, Australia’s Heath Ryan decided to get a little extra from his trip to the United States by competing in an additional CDI. He rode Regardez Moi to fifth place in the Grand Prix (66.42%) and second in the freestyle (68.85%).
- Amanda Harlan completed a clean sweep of the CDI young rider classes with Liberte.
