Dates Named for U.S. Dressage Team Selection Trials

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the dates and location for the 2010 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions, which will also serve as the USEF Selection Trial for the U.S. Dressage Team for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

The competition will be held over two weeks—Aug. 6-8 and Aug. 13-15—at the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation Headquarters in Gladstone, N.J.

The best horse/rider combinations will vie for national dressage championships in five divisions.

The first half of the Grand Prix National Dressage Championship and the Intermediaire I Championship will run over the first weekend, and the Junior, Young Rider and Young Adult ‘Brentina Cup,’ as well as the conclusion of the Grand Prix National Dressage Championship will run over the second weekend.

The selection trials will also be the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Grand Prix National Championship.
