Aiken, SC – Oct. 19 – Custom Saddlery is proudly sponsoring U.S. Olympic dressage veteran Lendon Gray’s ‘Dressage4Kids,’ at the 2013 Atlanta Youth Dressage Festival, October 19-20, at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. Custom will be presenting eight division winners with Custom embroidered saddle pads, and the Dressage4Kids overall division grand champion with a pair of stirrup leathers from its new Custom luxury line featuring personalized color stitching and length options.
The unique competition addresses the complete horsemanship of the young dressage student through a combined challenge involving a Written Test, Dressage Test and Dressage Equitation Class. The educational theme of the festival will include guest lectures on improving horse and rider performance, and a Saturday night banquet with featured guest and speaker, Lendon Gray.
“Lendon has been an enormous asset to American dressage and it’s exciting to see how her approach to introducing young people to the sport has inspired the Atlanta Youth Dressage Festival,” says Cary Wallace of Custom Saddlery.
“At Custom Saddlery, we also value the enormous benefits young people gain through a relationship with a horse. We are proud to support the educational intent of the Festival and its division and overall champions.”
