Las Vegas, NV (January 4, 2012) – Saddle fitters from Custom Saddlery, makers of handcrafted custom-fit dressage, jumping, and event saddles, will kick off the new year by attending the annual Saddle Fitting Seminar at Cooper Ranch in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed as an educational week, the annual Saddle Fitting Seminar sets the stage for the upcoming year for Custom Saddlery fitters and will be held February 28th to March 3rd.
“Over the last two years we held the Saddle Fitting Seminar for all of our saddle fitters at our plant in Aiken, South Carolina, but we are excited this year to head west to Cooper Ranch in Las Vegas,” said Cary Wallace, Certified Master Saddler and co-founder of Custom Saddlery and E-Quest, Inc, makers of DSB and DSB2 dressage sport boots. “Cooper Ranch is a gorgeous facility and the home of ‘Dressage of Las Vegas.’ Charlotte Nielson is the owner and trainer of the ranch and we know we are in for a fantastic seminar at a superb location.”
In addition to hosting Custom’s Saddle Fitting Seminar, during 2012 Cooper Ranch will hold five USEF/USDF/CDS/DASC recognized Dressage Shows and five Schooling Shows. Cooper Ranch, which features a large indoor arena, also hosts clinics throughout the year as well as offers lessons, sales horses and boarding.
During the Saddle Fitting Seminar, all phases of saddle fitting, customer relations, saddle production and new models will be discussed and practiced. “Our saddle fitters are the backbone of our company. They need to be fully up-to-date on everything that Custom Saddlery is doing, in addition to being very knowledgeable about saddle fitting,” Wallace said. And about the education the fitters gain at this year’s seminar, Wallace jokes, “this time what happens in Vegas will definitively not stay in Vegas”.
