Just a note…  Everyone pictured is OK, we promise!  They all walked away.

First, some thrills!

Haston d’Elpegere gave France’s Jean-Renaud a very enthusiastic jump into the first water complex.
Gazelle de la Brasserie jumped like a deer for Belgium’s Karin Donckers coming out of the last water, 27ABC.

And the spills!!!

Australia’s Sonja Johnson and Ringwould Jaguar’s WEG ended at the first water.

Finland’s Pia Pantsu retired after this fall at the bank out of the first water on Ypaja Karuso.

Mary King was on target for a clear round for Britain on Call Again Cavalier until this run-out at 27A, the last water jump.

Germany’s Dirk Schrade, riding Sindy as an individual, was originally given 20 penalties for reverting to the long route after this mistake into the one-stride distance at 12B-C, but protested them successfully.

Karen O’Connor and Upstage’s troubles included a run-out at this corner at 25C.
