Merry Christmas Pony
Artist Sharon Lynn Campbell was born and raised in the Chicago., Ill., area and spent her youth riding, showing and foxhunting. At a young age Campbell realized she had a love of the arts and started drawing her favorite subject, horses.

As a young adult she moved to central Virginia where she combined her passions for showing and painting into her career as an equestrian portrait artist.

Merry Christmas Pony is an oil on canvas. “I was at a photo shoot when this 30-year-old Miniature Horse came out of the barn all dressed up for Christmas. I had to take photos and paint this composition. I later gave this painting to the owner as a Christmas gift,” recalled Campbell.

Campbell resides in Rochelle, Va., with her husband George and three children, Andy, Danny and Lisa.
