Fog Cutter By Elizabeth Thurber
This week’s cover, Fog Cutter, is a charcoal portrait by Elizabeth Thurber based on a photograph taken by Mari Carlos.
Fog Cutter, owned by Margo Wain Lee, Santa Monica, Calif., was a multi-talented sport horse who died in October of 2007 at age 30. He began his career in the hunter ring, earning accolades in the second year green and regular working hunter divisions in 1985 in the San Fernando Valley Horse Show Association and the Los Angeles Horse Show Association.
