Mischief Makers By Raizy Goffman
Raizy Goffman, the owner of Camelot Hall Riding Club in Newhall, Calif., has blended a professional equine career with fine art. She’s been a hunter/ jumper trainer for more than 20 years, manages 12 U.S. Equestrian Federation and Pacific Coast Horse Show Association competitions annually and is a USEF R-rated judge and steward. She was also a Fédération Equestre International steward for the show jumping events at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
As an artist, Goffman has created limited edition bronzes, many of which have become perpetual trophies for horse shows throughout the country.

She holds a lifetime teaching credential with the State of California, and taught in the Los Angeles Unified School District for 10 years. She’s also an instructor at Pierce College (Calif.).
This week’s cover, Mischief Makers, a 16″ x 9″ x 11″ bronze with patina, is the PCHA children’s hunter, 13 and under, championship trophy.
