This week’s cover by Lynne McIntosh, Horse And His Man, is a 24″ x 36″ pastel of Vienna Waltz and Richard P. Maioriello competing at Dressage At Devon (Pa.). The painting is based on a photograph by Terri Miller, taken when Vienna Waltz was 3.
Vienna Waltz later became U.S. Dressage Federation first level horse of the year in 1988 and Central States Mature Horse Champion in 1998. He died in 2004 at age 23.
