Wellington And Maximus
Artist Rick Romano was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala., and is a self-taught artist. Romano decided to focus seriously on his artwork in 1998.

Romano’s drawings have been on display in private collections and in museums. The Paul “Bear” Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa, Ala., accepted his collection of Coach Bryant drawings for display as well as his depictions of some of the University of Alabama’s most memorable plays.

Wellington and Maximus is an 18″ x 24″ graphite and charcoal drawing. Both horses are retired hunters owned by David Frederick.
