Inseparable By Leslie Shiels

Artist Leslie Shiels has been a member of the Camargo Hunt (Ohio) for 35 years and an honorary whipper-in through the 1990s. She created with William Chatfield the book The Camargo Hunt: 75 Years Of Hunting And Hounds, published in 2001.

Shiels’ artwork has been exhibited in museums, juried and invitational exhibitions in 11 states, Bermuda and France. In addition, she was a participant in the MFHA Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit.

This week’s cover, Inseparable, a 30″ x 30″ oil on linen, is included in the book Indian Hill: A Point Of View, which was published in the spring of 2008.

The horses pictured are MASH, a 27-year-old retired advanced-level event horse, and Delta Star, 23, also a successful retired event horse. Both horses are owned by and were raised on Glengarith Farm, Cincinnati, Ohio, where they are retired with owner/ rider Diana Rich.
