Legacy By Robin Caspari

Artist Robin Caspari said in her artist’s statement that “the horse holds a certain power, freedom and wildness that has never gone unnoticed by man.”

Virginia-based Caspari focuses her artistic expression on that wildness in horses. With an abstract expressionist sensibility, she captures the energy and power of the horse. Legacy is a 43″ x 48″ mixed metallic painting.

“Historically, almost every culture has been bonded to the horse through our most monumental experiences, and he has been responsible for our survival in many cases,” she says. “I use the horse as an expressive vehicle to create an aesthetic response and touch people on an emotional level. I believe art is an extension of the human experience that communicates beyond the ability of language and is the voice for the human sentiment and soul.”
