Side Saddle Story
New York-based artist Peggy Kauffman is one of the most gifted horse and dog sculptors working today. Her art centers around horses and horse sports, although she also sculpts dogs and other animals.

A graduate of Bennett College (N.Y.), Kauffman has ridden competitively throughout her life, competing in horse shows and in eventing. In recent years, she’s concentrated more fully on her art, and her pieces are highly sought-after for collectors of sporting art. Her work is currently represented by The Beresford Gallery in Unionville, Pa.
