Over The Creek Oxer
Artist Pat Turcotte captured a moment of harmony between Sharon White (see p. 32) and her partner Ready About at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** in 2002.

Ready About was a bold cross-country mount that took White around her first four-star course with ease. The gray Thoroughbred is now deceased, however, White is currently raising and training two of her get that White hopes one day may gallop around advanced-level courses as confidently as their dam.

Turcotte, Lakewood, N.Y., specializes in equestrian illustration and portraiture, most specifically eventing. She also enjoys child portraiture and works primarily in watercolor, although she does accept commissions in oil.
