Artist Pat Turcotte captured a moment of determination between Kim Severson and Winsome Adante during their winning cross-country performance at the 2005 Rolex Kentucky CCI****.

Turcotte, Lakewood, N.Y., specializes in equestrian illustration and portraiture, most specifically eventing. She also enjoys child portraiture and works primarily in watercolor, although she does accept commisions in oil.
