Cover Art–03/18/05

This week's cover is a life-size painting of Henry McVeigh in his winter finery. The 65"x60" painting hangs over the sofa in Sally and Steve McVeigh's living room. Henry was a Miniature Horse extraordinaire, who ran the McVeigh's Wetherburn farm in Virginia for 12 years and is certainly now in charge of horse heaven.

Artist Susan Van Wagoner lives and works in Middleburg, Va. She works primarily in pastel, pencel and colored pencil on linen.
