Here’s how it works…Begin by registering. After the odds are posted for the Kentucky Derby, horse selection will open. Each player will login to make their selections. 50 “Classic” Dollars will be given to each player for the purchase of three horses per race. The purchase price for each horse will be based upon the morning line odds. Although three horses must be selected, all Classic Dollars do not have to be spent. Horse selection will close at 4 pm on the day of the Derby. After this time, no additional selections or modification may be made for any races.
After the race is declared official, points will be awarded to each horse in the player’s stable based upon their finish positions. Total available points for the race are determined in advance by the number of entries for the race. For each race, the maximum number of points will be 100 for a full field.

The same process will apply for the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes. The contest winner will be the participant who earns the most points cumulatively through the three legs of the Triple Crown.
