A last-minute cancellation means that there is a current opening for the 2007 spring internship at The Chronicle of the Horse. 

The internship runs from January through May and is a full-time job.  It is an editorial internship, and the strongest candidates will demonstrate horse knowledge and experience, specifically knowledge of the equestrian sports we cover.  Candidates should also have strong writing skills, and photography skills are a bonus.

Chronicle interns have gone on to become professional writers, professional photographers, Chronicle staff members and more.  It’s an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio, gain experience and gain an “in” to the world of equestrian journalism.
